• Created a strong connection with other incoming freshmen, sought out UNC's resources when in need of guidance or help, felt guided by mentors and other peers, and gained a much vaster perspective on the skill sets needed to be a successful Tar Heel.

Participant in the NAYLC youth Leadership Summit in National Harbor, MD 2022 

• Participated in a 3 day long summit, featuring important policy makers as well as local justice activists and people who shared their experiences as new Americans and American immigrants.
• Participants were able to engage in a deep and enriching conversation about new American experiences and the struggle that comes along with it; further amplifying the importance of access to resources as students and parts of the communities they make up.

Participant in the Collegiate Climate Policy Institute in Washington D.C. 2023 

• This is a three-day intensive in-person training that will provide young climate advocates with the knowledge and skills needed to be an effective climate advocate in Congress as well as in their own communities.
• Participants will used their skills and return back to their communities to complete a Climate Practicum project of their choice, which gave them the opportunity to engage young people in the way they feel most excited about for themselves and their community in climate advocacy.
• President of High Point Central high school's Korean Culture Club, 2018-2022 - 10 hours per week, 35 weeks per year (approx.) - 240+ hours towards meetings, planning, and rehearsals every year - Put together performances, events and shared Korean pop and native culture through music, food, games, and other activities.
