Hayden Aliotta

I am a second year Civil Engineering student at the University of Georgia, and I would love the opportunity to earn professional experience as I continue to pursue my degree. On top of my education, I recently interned with a Civil Engineering firm in Savannah, GA, Coleman Company, in the summer of2024. With this being said, I have recognized that I have a strong desire to further my knowledge and enhance my learning with engineering. I have worked closely with site inspection, Dropbox, and learning the fundamentals of drawings and plans. Furthermore, I have learned the many types and importance of different piping including fire, water, electrical, etc.. I have also spent time in the office where I was given the chance to view some of the AutoCAD files for various parking lots, highways, and building foundations while also communicating with the City of Savannah on furthering the progress of the projects at hand. From what I have experienced over the past summer, I have learned that I have the ability to adapt quickly, complete my tasks fast, and do it with high determination. While I have worked with another firm in the past, I believe that by branching out and gaining knowledge from another firm in a different city would enhance my knowledge and experience heavily. I aspire to work within the civil engineering field with professionals who have expert knowledge within this career. I also understand that while working within an enhanced environment that I need to obtain the same level of hard work and dedication that I have in the past. • Zeta Tau Alpha (College Freshman and Sophomore)

          - I am a member of the Gamma Phi chapter at the University of Georgia where I built many lasting    relationships while also learning the importance of sisterhood.

• UGA Women’s Club Flag Football (College Freshman and Sophomore)

          - A club designed to compete and work closely with other surrounding flag football teams from different colleges.

• UGA Miracle

          - Helped raise money and awareness for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, which is our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital

• American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Club (Freshman in College)

          - A club designed around group and individual work and building different projects

• CRU

          - A student organization designed to lead other students in weekly fellowship and discipleship

• Intramural ZTA Flag Football Team

          - I coached and managed the Zeta Intramural Flag football team to win the championship in Sanford Stadium, while also playing as the quarterback.
