I first started as a mason labor while going to High-school in Wyoming over the summers and winters working 30 hour weeks for my friends Dad- His company his called Switzer masonry. Here I assisted bricklayers and stone masons in preparing mortar, cutting bricks, and transporting materials to job sites, Set up scaffolding, mixed concrete, and ensured safe and clean work areas, as well as loading and unloading building materials, operated hand tools and power tools. When I graduated HS I then went to work in retail honing my customer service skills, handling closing and opening stores, and overall becoming extremely responsible. Within culinary I found an actual passion within making food (or to me an art). I learned numerous baking/ cooking techniques that I use in my day to day life. Starting a new journey in a field that I love would be a life changer and I am eager to learn all I can.
