Undergraduate Research Assistant
Working for Dr. Ben Cotterill and Dr. Kaileigh Byrne as apart of their Creative Inquiry teams. I work as a research on Dr. Cotterill's "False confessions and schizotypal traits: Investigating the role of suggestibility and memory distrust" research project, and Dr. Byrne's "Exploring AI for Human Decision-Making" research project. While doing so, I have:
- Adapted quickly to new methodologies and technologies in research processes.
- Recorded data and maintained source documentation following good documentation practices.
- Contributed to the completion of multiple research projects, managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Conducted fieldwork as needed, collecting vital data to supplement existing research efforts.
- Ensured compliance with ethical guidelines when working with human subjects or sensitive data sources throughout all stages of a given study.
- Supported faculty researchers, assisting with experiment design and implementation.
- Participated in regular lab meetings, contributing valuable insights and suggestions for ongoing projects.
- Compiled data into reports and disseminated to supervisor for review.
- Organized laboratory materials and maintained equipment for efficient daily operations.
All of this, amongst much more activities involving the research projects themselves.
