Small Animal Practice (50%)

• Conduct examinations, interpret diagnostics, and implement treatment planning for both wellness and sick patients
• Perform surgical procedures including but not limited to routine procedures such as spay/neuter, mass removals, wound care, and laparotomies
• Manage anesthesia and perioperative care.
• Educate and communicate with clients on patient care.

Large Animal Practice (50%)

• Provide ambulatory and haul-in services for cattle (70% beef, 30% dairy), small ruminants, equine, and swine
• Perform reproductive services including but not limited to pregnancy diagnosis (both palpation and ultrasound-guided), breeding soundness exams, dystocia assistance, and artificial insemination
• Determine individualized herd health programs, vaccination schedules, and parasite control strategies while communicating effectively with producers for implementation of such strategies
• Provide specialized lameness care with hydraulic tilt chute in-house for safe and effective bovine footwork
• Perform and interpret individual animal examinations, diagnostics, and treatments

• Responsible for care of in-hospital critical patients of multiple species including cattle, sheep, goats, and alpacas
• Assisted veterinarians during diagnostic and surgical procedures, ensuring sterile environments and proper instrumentation.
• Monitored patient recovery post-surgery, providing critical care and support for optimal healing.

• Collected and analyzed data regarding livestock species and quantity in different counties of Colorado to plot strategies for disease surveillance and vaccination strategies in the event of a foot and mouth disease outbreak.
• Attended county fairs in Eastern Colorado to support local youth in 4-H and FFA projects
