- we fabricated Olympic styling weightlifting equipment and machines for Sorinex. I used orthographic and isometric blueprints everyday unless it was something I had built before. (assembled and welded) sometimes jigs and fixtures would be used or fabricated to make the job at task easier and more efficient. Mainly used pulse mig on carbon but did stainless steel when needed.

- I work at a family business when possible. We do a lot of warranty work for builders in the area such as Mungo and McGuinn and Stanley Martin along with a few custom builders. This family business also owns a glass and door installation company I do work for. I would say the biggest accomplishment working with family has been the bond we have created along with the incredible things we have built. This company has also made me get over my fear of heights and just build and overall drive for figuring out the problem at hand.

- I joined Caliber Collisions apprenticeship program (TAP) to become an autobody technician right after finishing school for welding. - Shortly after enrolling into midlands tech, I completed forklift training and operated shop cranes. I picked up, loaded and unloaded material required for production. I also operated shop machinery such as sheet metal sheers, iron workers, band saw and many other shop equipment. Oxy Acetylene torches and plasma cutters were used consistently to cut off materiel being repaired. This was a Mig pulse welding job and tig aluminum. We did trailer repairs mainly and contract work like transformer Doleys for SC&G.

- It's where I was able to grow my interest in welding, this is the first place I ever operated a forklift. I used many different tools and machinery at this job from air brushes to Sheetmetal sheers. I also operated sandblasters for areas that are hard to grind due to the HAZ (heat affected zone) on stainless from welding. I got to do some stainless tig and was able to increase my mechanical skills as I still help and learn from the owner to this day. This was my first experience with welding besides introduction classes in my sophomore year of high school.
