From August of 2020 to February of 2025, I served in the United States Army as a Weapons Squad Leader. My duty was to train, prepare and lead machine gun teams to be effective in point and area suppression. In addition to this, I was in charge on coordination of movement and effectively communicating with adjacent units to ensure effectiveness on the battlefield and safety. This role also required me to care for the welfare of 30+ Soldiers in a professional and personal environment.
