Accomplishments

    During my time as the Program Director for the YPS Program, I developed stronger leadership and staff management skills. In this role, I was responsible for hiring and training new staff members on how to conduct community visits, document those visits in eHana, and complete assessments in eHana. This experience helped me strengthen my abilities in supervision, staff development, and program management while ensuring that services were delivered effectively and in compliance with program requirements.

    In my role as Program Director, I received training on effective staff supervision and learned how to better support team members with the daily challenges of working with families and within the community. I was provided with opportunities to participate in several professional development trainings, all of which I successfully completed, including Future Training, Leadership Training, and Reflective Supervision Training. These trainings helped me strengthen my leadership, management, and supervisory skills.

    I was also responsible for developing and facilitating various trainings and groups for staff members and community partners. In addition, I led monthly staff meetings and weekly team meetings, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and ongoing support for staff. Through these responsibilities, I gained valuable experience in leadership, staff development, program management, and team coordination.

During my time as the Program Director for the YPS Program, I developed strong leadership, supervision, and staff management skills. In this role, I was responsible for hiring and training new staff members on how to conduct community visits, document those visits in eHana, and complete assessments in eHana. This experience strengthened my abilities in supervision, staff development, and program management while ensuring that services were delivered effectively and in compliance with program requirements.
