In 2020, one of my proudest accomplishments was starting a dance team at Milford High School. What began as just an idea quickly grew into a movement that brought students together through creativity, discipline, and school spirit. Forming the team wasn’t easy it meant organizing practices, choreographing routines, and convincing both administrators and classmates that the program could succeed. But I believed in the importance of giving students a space to express themselves through dance while also building teamwork and confidence. Seeing the team come to life and perform at school events was incredibly rewarding, not just because of the recognition but because I helped create a lasting opportunity for others who shared the same passion. Looking back, I see this accomplishment as a reminder that leadership isn’t just about achieving something personally it’s about opening doors for others and leaving an impact that continues even after you move on.
