I enhanced team collaboration at Eisenhower Aftercare and improved student academic performance through dedicated support. At Dona Irma’s Restaurant, I excelled in high pressure situations, demonstrating exceptional multitasking abilities. Skilled in teaching and empathy, helped coworkers improve their English as the coworkers in my grandmas restaurant weren’t as fluent in english. I taught them english words everyday which deepened my appreciation for cultural exchange and the power of communication.
This experience shaped me by reinforcing the value of helping others and learning from diverse perspectives. It also brought out a part of me that i did not know existed. It also inspired me to step out of my comfort zone, and I carry those lessons with me as I continue to grow personally and academically.
Working with younger children has been an experience that l believe will help me excel in college. This role taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, and the ability to communicate effectively with young learners. I developed strong time management skills by balancing work responsibilities with my studies, and I learned how to handle challenges with creativity and confidence. These experiences have prepared me to manage the demands of college while maintaining a strong sense of commitment to my goals and to others.
