  • THE UNIVERSITY OF TOLEDO, DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACOLOGY AND EXPERIMENTAL THERAPEUTICS, GRADUATE RESEARCHER, FALL 2015, FALL 2017, Conducted research on endothelial mouse cells, both wild type and mutant. Used cell lines to understand primary cilia function in cells and how the dysfunction of cilia may contribute to Polycystic Kidney Disease. Conducted experiments to characterize the function of muscarinic receptors in endothelial cilia.
  • MIAMI UNIVERSITY, DEPARTMENT OF BIOLOGY, UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCHER, FALL 2013, SPRING 2015, Conducted research with the transcription factor BarH1 in Drosophila melanogaster through genetic manipulation, and examined the consequences exhibited in the expression of motor neurons and eclosion behavior. Manipulated BarH1 since it has been implicated that is has been expressed in dopaminergic motor neurons in the segmental nerves.
