Throughout my time at tropical smoothie I worked my way up from crew member, to team lead, to manager working along side a partner in handling the store and crew. My coworkers found themselves comfortable coming to me with concerns, questions and help with whatever they needed, and I work well in a high stress environment which made the transitions from crew member to manager fairly easy.

Days consisted of opening the store and preparing before, opening registers, making sure staff is aware of daily tasks and duties, taking multiple calls and order, assisting when things got busy in between any orders or scheduling that needed to taken care of. Checking on reviews from customers on the staff and store to fix any improvements, keeping staff up to date on new promotions and protocol when it comes to allergies, food prep and customer service, informing them on any changes being made.

  • Took care of an elder lady who lived in her own apartment for 12 hours a day. My days would consist of cooking meals, giving medications daily at the given time, cleaning, assisting to the restroom and bath when needed. This patient would have good and bad days, so I would communicate with the family on how she was doing. I stopped in home care when it was deemed she needed full time care in a facility.
