In this position, I am responsible for conducting interviews for clients for various programs, completing the correct forms, and gathering information. I am also required to track processing deadlines and assist in responding to requests from clients. As a family support specialist III, I am also responsible for helping and advising other team members, assisting when they need help, and doing what any other tasks supervisors ask of me.
The main goal at my current job is to make sure that clients receive the assistance that they need that will make a difference for them. I am responsible for accepting calls, directing them to the correct que, answering questions, interviewing clients for assistance, and helping clients in person if needed. I can navigate different kind of computer programs efficiently. I can direct clients in the right direction with resources, if I am not able to fully help with what they need.
I was responsible for completing money transactions consisting of deposits, withdrawals, and/or payments. I was also responsible for providing excellent customer service to customers by telling them our product and services that we offered. Keeping a clean workspace and organization was a top priority as well due to COVID-19. Keeping confidential information private as well.
I was responsible for opening and closing the store, which entails; opening/closing registers, setting marketing, checking the store email, leaving feedback around the day, making observations on segments of the day, keeping track of hours of shipment and processing as well as making sure our floor set is set to the current updates. There have also been several instances where I was responsible for helping to resolve scheduling conflicts and associate relations. I was also responsible for keeping the store recovered during shifts as well as sending associates on breaks and sending them home at their proper time. As a leader of the store it is also imperative that I not only maintain customer first thinking, but I also keep associates tasked and engaged on store duties and engagement around how they are doing and feedback on performance when they are not helping customers.
At the trampoline park I was responsible for opening and closing the park, counting down the register drawers, cleaning, stocking, and counting supplies. I also was responsible for managing the other employees and making sure they are doing their roles that they are supposed to be doing. Another responsibility that I had was interacting with the customers and making a connection with them to make sure that they feel safe having their kids in our business.
