All four year of high school I had the privilege of being a captain of this amazing organization. Being a captain of a philanthropic run organization in a small town has been a deeply rewarding and transformative experience. Leading a team dedicated to helping others has taught me invaluable lessons about leadership, teamwork, and the power of community. In a small-town setting, the impact of our work is more visible and personal — knowing that our efforts directly benefit neighbors and familiar faces makes the work more meaningful.
