• Civil design for utilities and stormwater infrastructure for a two-phase, 276-unit master-planned subdivision, including collector and arterial roadways, water storage tank, sanitary lift station, and transmission main.
• Led design of the overall water system (6"–16" C900 PVC and C151 DIP), storm drain crossings, temporary grading, and offsite detention; completed hydrology and hydraulic modeling using the rational method, HEC-HMS, and FlowMaster.
• Coordinated with Washoe County, TMWA, RTC, subconsultants, and internal disciplines to resolve conflicts and ensure compatibility with future development phases and planned roadway widening.
• Civil design lead for an adaptive reuse project converting an existing warehouse into 20 loft-style apartment units.
• Designed storm drain, sanitary sewer, water service connections, and frontage improvements; performed hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to develop cost-effective, code-compliant alternatives amid evolving project scope.
• Coordinated with the City of Reno, TMWA, and contractor through pre-construction meetings, construction support, site visits, and design revisions to address field conditions.
• Prepared the administrative review civil plans for a high-density development consisting of 142 duplex buildings (284 units) within a master-planned community.
• Designed preliminary water, sanitary sewer, storm drain, grading, and site layout plans; completed preliminary hydrology and sewer reports demonstrating conformance with city standards and master plans.
• Collaborated with the planning team and reviewing agencies to produce an approvable submittal that established the basis for future construction-level design.
• Lead civil utility design for a 386-unit apartment complex, including layout of all on-site water, sanitary sewer, and storm drain utilities; prepared civil improvement plans and TMWA water plans.
• Utilized master hydrology and sewer reports to allocate project flows and confirm adequate capacity in the existing off-site systems; implemented utility layout revisions to maintain required clearances from TMWA and NV Energy facilities.
• Coordinated with the client and landscape architect on site layout changes, submitted and obtained City of Sparks Fire permit approval (IFC compliant), and completed grading revisions to accommodate client-driven modifications.
