Corrections Officer with 20+ years of experience working with the Michigan Department of Corrections. Over the years, I have acquired the ability to utilize OMNI, Excel and Word while implementing policy and procedure om a daily basis while effectively using communication systems such as the telephones, switchboards in daily work tasks and to assist the general public in any questions/concerns they may have. Also, I have gained the experience and knowledge over the years in searching prisoner cells, searching both regular and legal , searching incoming boxes that come through the gates to help prevent the introduction of contraband while maintaining the safety and security of the institution for those both that reside and work there.

Alongside CPS , we assisted them with in home family therapy for families on their caseloads. I was responsible for preparing reports for the CPS worker and courts and at times had to testify on the families behalf. I was responsible for families on my caseload and had a certain number of hours I was providing family therapy to them.
