  • Maintenance and monitoring of invasive lines that include; central lines, arterial lines, trialysis lines, ports, and more.
  • Care and Management of tracheostomy patients, heated high flow nasal cannula, and close management of mechanical ventilators.
  • Manage and titrate a variety of medications including but not restricted to vasopressors, vasodilators, inotropes, antiarrhythmic, sedation, narcotics, neuromuscular blockade agents, heparin, and insulin.
  • Treatment of the critically ill adult including, but not restricted to diabetic ketoacidosis, cardiogenic/septic shock, congestive heart failure, post cardiopulmonary arrest, ARDS, pulmonary embolism, and intracranial hemorrhage.
  • Manage and evaluate external ventricular drains and their associated monitoring.
  • Management of LVADS and Initiation and management of temporary pacemakers.
  • Assist with bedside procedural sedation for a range of procedures with focus on airway patency pre, intra, and post procedure.
  • Preceptor to new-to-practice as well as experienced nurses.
