I currently work as a behavior paraprofessional at a title 1 school. I work in providing support to students who need to to exercise claiming techniques when dealing in unsafe situations. I also work to implement behavior plans to help students be as successful as possible while in their classroom and at school.

• Provided guidance to students on proper behavior and social interaction with others in classroom settings.
• Implemented behavioral management techniques in order to ensure a safe learning environment for all students.
• Monitored students to observe behavior, enforce rules and maintain safety.

Worked as a Para for a 5th grade classroom, during my time there I worked one on one with students as well as worked with small group instruction. In addition I worked as a substitute teacher one day a week.

• Offered students personalized educational, behavioral and emotional support.
• Supplied one-on-one attention to each student during group activities.
• Assisted children at stations during small-group learning periods.

Worked in Sales and Bookkeeping from Oct. 2017 - July 2018. After my Husband passed away In July 2018 I took over both businesses as Owner and President. During this time I did all the financial books, paid the bills and did weekly payroll, collected on invoices, ordered all supplies for masonry and inventory for stone yard. In addition I held monthly board meetings, was in charge or hiring and firing staff and sales. I continued my position as Owner and President until selling the company in Nov. 2019.
