Travel Claims Reviewer:


  • Self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal responsibility.
  • Reviews travel claims from travelers when they return from official business travel.
  • It is then checked to ensure all proper information is included on the voucher and that all information is correct.
  • I make sure all uploaded receipts such as Lodging, Car Rental, Airfare, Fuel, Parking or public transportation is valid and the total amount matches the total amount the traveler is claiming for reimbursement.
  • If any vouchers has any error, is it then returned to the traveler to make the proper adjustments. If nothing is wrong with the voucher it is then submitted through to the next level of reviewers.


Authorizations (Overseas Travel):

  • Along with reviewing traveler claims, I also review authorizations for any travelers having to do official business overseas.
  • The voucher is reviewed to make sure all the proper information is included in the voucher such as Passport Number, Anti-Terrorism Training is up to date, Flights are booked and shows the full flight itinerary and the locations the traveler is traveling is listed in the trip details.
  • A note is taken and posted in the HEAT program of the Foreign Clearance Guide of whichever country they are traveling to for business. This shows what is needed for Military, Civilian or Contractor travelers to ensure that the travelers will have what is required for the Country they are traveling to.
  • An authorization summery is also taken note of to make sure all important details that need to be included in the traveler voucher is included. This will include transportation, accounting information, passport details and Anti Terrorism Training completion date.
