Active in my church & my special needs daughter

I work in the Children's Ministry,  the kitchen, help with decorating church at certain times of the year,  I have also been helping get the library at church together. I am involved in several small groups for Bible study.

I have a special needs daughter that is participates in special olympics. I am very involved with everything she does.

Accomplishments

I am a highly motivated individual who has overcome adversity. I am a single mom of a daughter who has special needs. She is in many activities, including special olympics, basketball, bowling, soft ball, and track. She also has many appointments with doctors and specialists. Up until this year, I have organized and kept up with all of her activities, and volunteered at all of them in any way that was possible. She now lives in a group home and I do not have to keep up with her daily life. Since my retirement, I have become very involved at my church. I work in the Kitchen Ministry, and the children's ministry. I work in the nursery, teaching toddlers Sunday school. I also teach in Vacation Bible School. I have gone on Mission trips, and hope to go on more in the future. I am in book club and several small groups. I enjoy working with Children and adults, and look forward to working with the public again.
