Heather Morrissey

Gainesville,VA

Summary

Enthusiastic educator and seasoned photographer, excelling in classroom management and digital media photography. At Signal Hill Elementary, I enhanced learning through hands-on strategies and building relationships with my students. Mastered multitasking at Heather Morrissey Photography, and working as a talented and creative photojournalist for USAToday, in a fast-paced, competitive, high-pressure environment on Capital Hill, the White House and Washington, D.C.

My past two years of teaching has proven my ability to be thrown into the unknown, giving my ALL and proving to be a more than capable and successful teacher. Learning new content, teaching that content so that it is relatable to real life, keeping up with the curriculum pace and navigating big personalities in the classroom.

I operate well in both individual and team capacities. I'm hardworking, detail-oriented and passionate with strong organizational skills eager to work full-time and in person.
