Assistant Director 

Nā Keiki ō Halele'a

2016-2019

Nonprofit organization that was founded with the goal of guiding the future generations of Kaua'i to grow in a way that betters the land and community. Children were given free, after-school activities such as art, farming, surfing instructions, and mixed-martial arts to teach them the importance of imagination, responsibility, strength, and respect. 


When asked to join as assistant director, I dedicated myself to the organization by answering all emails, texts, and phone calls from parents, business owners, donors, etc. Raising money, writing proposals, planning parties, and teaching kids how to surf were also part of my duties. Over a span of 5 years, our board-of-staff made it possible for children to find rest and fun in a safe environment. It was a true blessing for all those involved.
