Started as a date entry clerk - responsible to make sure all the packslips and EDI information was downloaded in our system from the vendors before the shipment arrived and the manifest was giving to the creator to be uploaded.

Trailer creator- This job I was responsible to take the information that was provided by our traffic dept , which was a manifest and enter this into our system so when the trucks arrived the receiving dept could see exactly what was suppose to be on that truck. Such as the Po's, the carton counts and the quantities.

Trouble dept - In this department we went through all Po's that came in with issues and worked with our buyers at the corporate office to resolve those issues. We also tracked freight that came in that wasn't ordered and figured out what to do with it.

Traffic Dept - My responsibility was to track all incoming loads and make sure we had all the proper documentation from the carriers so we could have our creators enter the orders in our system so when they arrived they knew was should be on the load.

TMS Helpline- In 2012 I helped launch this helpline at our distribution center. This was a corporate job that was brought to our location. I took lead on learning this position and implementing it so that it was successful and would remain at our facility. This was a phone line that our vendors could call to get assistance with using our routing program, asking questions about our compliance guidelines, setting up new locations when they opened new warehouses and helping new employees gain access to the program as well. We were also responsible to answering emails to assist our vendors.

Logistics specialist in the Routing dept - This is my current position and this job has many responsibilities. We are responsible to make sure all of our freight gets from the vendor to the distribution centers all of the country. From reading and replying to emails, tracking loads, building shipments and providing customer service.
