Accomplishments

I am a part of the Honor Guard who honors the fallen officers in the line of duty or under unfavorable circumstances. I have been on the rifle squad and participated in the folding of the flag for their families. Lastly I am a volunteer for Peer Support, I am a support system for those officers and staff who are going through a hard time at work or at home who need to be heard or may need guidance. I also offer EAP to those in need.

Affiliations

In college I participated in community services by picking up trash and restoring small parks by planting trees or flowers for credit but also continued after college to assist elderly citizens by helping them garden, organize their garages and build ramps for their wheelchairs or walkers so they would be more comfortable in their home and assist in picking them up from physical therapy appointments.

One activity I enjoy is being out doors and exploring a nice hike or the beach. Fresh air clears the mind and allows me to relax and find a balance in life.

Certification

I also took a week long course and got certified in T4T (Training 4 Trainee) by training new officers and also seasoned officers and staff on policy and procedures in the In Service Training (IST) that staff must participate in once a year.
