Dynamic professional with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, dedicated to fostering positive relationships with students to enhance their success. Proven ability to create supportive environments that promote self-esteem and personal growth. Committed to delivering high-quality care and education to diverse student populations.
Rooted in a family of educators and raised within the Louisiana public school system, I developed a deep appreciation for learning and community from an early age. Driven by a lifelong desire to help others, I pursued nursing and had a fulfilling career. It was after having kids of my own that I found myself being called to education—particularly in working with children who need extra care and connection.
I bring a natural ability to connect with children, especially those often labeled as “challenging,” and have a deep commitment to fostering supportive, inclusive environments. After falling in love with my own children’s elementary school, I remained actively involved as a volunteer even after they graduated—eventually being invited to join the school staff by the principal.
Outside of work, I am actively involved in a local church and support a ministry serving families of chronically ill children. I thrive in social, community-centered settings, whether spending time outdoors with my husband (an emergency room physician), our two teenagers, or our four quirky tiny dogs. Our home is a welcoming hub for our friends, reflecting the same warmth and care I bring to my professional life.
I am excited to continue growing in my education career and to explore new opportunities where I can make a meaningful impact.
