As a former gymnast I have learned how to manage my time because competitive gymnastics requires such a time-consuming and strict schedule. I have learned how to work hard to achieve my goals because gymnastics isn't easy and it takes a lot of mental strength to do the sport. I learned what it means to be part of a team and how to know when to stand independently but also know when to rely on your team. Even though my time as a gymnast has come to and end I have learned so much from the sport that have helped me grow as a person.
Even though I recently quit gymnastics, I am currently on my school's track and field team. The season official starts on January 29th and will run through the end of the school year around April-May. I'm committed to track and hope to learn new things from this sport.
