Adept at project management and relationship building, I have been a Superintendent for 18 years. I have worked as an assistant PM and Safety Officer through out my years at Pillar and worked on many quality construction projects ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets. Known to be flexible and occasionally traveled to train and help other projects. Being a bilingual communicator, I was able to enhance the efficiency and project execution with our field team and our Subcontractors. Safety was always the number one priority in our projects.
Reston Gateway with STO Glass Panels won first place in the DMV area. It involved 135 glass panels shaped as three upside down prisms 60' in the air. I was involved on the design of the substructure and the installation of the panels.
Water Front Station with Porcelanosa facade won first place also. A 10 stories building enveloped in porcelain tiles. I had two crews and completed 45,000 sf of facade in 4 months.
1630 Columbia Rd with Porcelanosa Facade came in 2nd place. A 10 stories Residential/Retail building with flat walls, angled and triangle shaped balconies, ceilings all covered in porcelain tiles.
Inova at Oakville with GFRC concrete panels. A four stories hospital with over 60 panels in different sizes, shapes and weighs Exceeding 900 lbs. Had to use various different types of rigging equipment, many collaborations with the glass system and gutter and very tight completion schedule. I was involved on the design phase of the system and oversaw the project until the end on a spam of two years.
