Safety is my biggest priority, in any project or assignment given
Working For USG I was assigned to multiple projects with various tasks in different locations throughout the U.S
Most of the projects I was involved in were fabrication and installation which consisted of various measuring tools, lasers, plumb bobs with proper measuring techniques and math
Most installs had different types of rigging involved such as your typical come along, chainfalls, beam clamps, shackles and straps or chokers
Most parts were delivered and had to be moved on forklifts or telehandlers and moved up on different floors using hoists or cranes with walkies and proper hand signals
Fabrication started with prints I would have to be briefed in or studied on my own
I would have to fabricate with various tools and materials
Fabrication consisted of cutting with plasma, acetylene torches and grinders 4", 7" and die grinders with varying disks
Fabricated parts were either mounted with hardware or welded in place
Most materials varied from carbon and stainless steel, also worked with aluminum and manganese
Different style materials included structural steel H Beams, I Beams T Beams
Pipe process varied from fully welded with root and cap, air pressure pipe and tubes with it being crimped for coupler or welding for compilation that were different schedule and gauge

As a field lead, I will need a crew of men to fulfill our daily task by getting it done on time and on budget in a timely manner and being safety conscious
Our operations would be in the Chicago land area as well as out of state from coast to coast and erecting steel for expansions remodels and ground up builds
Expansions would include columns, joist, and decking
Remodels are reinforcing joist, bridging, X braces and framing HVAC units and shoring towers
Ground up builds are full builds with columns, beams, header beams, joists, decking and stair shafts which include all landings, stringers, guardrails and wall rails connections, roof hatch ladders and framings
