  • Performed diagnosis, repairs and maintenance on military mobile equipment, combat, tactical and automotive vehicles. Obtained direction to carry out non-routine and more complex repairs on components of big assemblies and/or systems from a higher ranked mechanic or supervisor. Recovered and removed non-operational vehicles.
  • Performed limited readiness and repair inspections on vehicles and related equipment. Ensured that vehicles and equipment are properly serviced, including brake adjustments, hydraulic fluid replacements, greasing, cleaning, and other tasks, by performing preventive maintenance checks and services. Carried out further preventative maintenance procedures as needed to guarantee that the machinery is operating as intended.
  • Replaced and removed parts and components from basic communication equipment, including radios, field phones, amplifiers, switchboards, recorders, and intercoms, to perform normal maintenance and minor repairs. Replaced worn-out or damaged parts to carry out normal maintenance and limited repairs on small arms.
