I am responsible for the care of patients both pre-surgery and PACU. Obtain history, verification of procedure, monitor patient vital Signs, IV start, surgical site care, medication administration, electronic medical record documentation, respond and care for emergencies in the surgical setting, closely monitor patients before and after surgery, educate patient and families with discharge instructions for self care. Perform PAT for patients prior to surgery.

• Responsible for the care of chronically ill students, triage and case management of those students, medication administration, respond and care for emergencies in the school setting, IV placement as needed, assist provider with procedures and exams, immunizations, phlebotomy.

• New RN graduate preceptor. Responsible for the care of medical and trauma patients, IV placement, assessments, triage, lab draws, medication administration, management of ventilated patients, preceptor.
• Level II trauma center.

• Responsible for the care of chronically ill students and staff, triage of those students, medication administration, case management, responding to emergencies and care of suspected COVID students/staff, vaccine management per CDC guidelines.

• Responsible for the care of chronically ill students, triage students, medication administration, case management of students and staff, emergency care as needed, management of vaccines per CDC guidelines.

• Responsible for the care of medical and trauma patients, IV placement, respiratory treatments, assessments, triage, lab draws, care of patients on ventilators, medication administration.
• Level II trauma center.

• Care of all inmates and staff with chronic health problems, such as diabetes, cardiac diagnoses, respiratory diagnoses, treatment of injuries to inmates and staff/visitors, medication administration, IV placement.
• State Prison.

• Responsible for the care of medical/trauma patients, IV placement/blood draws, respiratory treatments, assessments, triage, and medication administration.
• Level 3 trauma center, freestanding.

Level I trauma center

Responsible for care of trauma, cardiac, respiratory, stroke and minor injuries.

• Assisted in emergency procedures to stabilize critical patients.
• Assessment, IV placement, blood draw, respiratory treatments, care of ventilated patients, education of patient and families for their specific illness.
• Utilized critical thinking skills to assess clinical situations quickly and accurately.
• Collaborated with physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
