• Vibra Hospital in Mandan a long term acute care 40 bed for profit hospital. Admission requirements clients sustained severe medical issues and need a longer than average hospital stay. Worked under the direction of CEO. Positions primary requirements Utilization review, reduce the length of stay, prevent readmissions. Helped patients and families feel comfortable during challenging and stressful situations, promoting recovery and reducing compliance issues. Advocated for patient needs with interdisciplinary team and implemented outlined treatment plans, while supporting and respecting basic rights, values and beliefs. Provided patient and family health education focusing on self-management, prevention and wellness. Position required critical thinking skills, imagination, resourcefulness.

• Provided medical, emotional support to children and young adults in group home setting. Provided staff, community with education on clients needs. Advocated for clients needs of specialized treatments, services, resources, and enrichment programs. Collaborated with others to discuss new opportunities and finding creative solutions to problems.

• Provided medical, psychiatric nursing to adjudicated youth. Coordinated with physicians regarding inmate treatment plans; collaborated with mental health providers to ensure proper psychological care was being administered when needed. Monitored daily activities of students for any changes in behavior or condition that may indicate a need for additional medical attention or intervention. Served as a liaison between healthcare personnel within the facility to provide continuity of care for students. Conducted educational classes on topics such as nutrition, hygiene, stress management and disease prevention. Provided support to students and family during this stressful time in their lives.

Worked both Telemetry and Home Health simultaneously. Allowed continuum of care. Aided in a safe comprehensive discharge.
