· Prepares and compiles materials for legal documents or projects.

SECURITY

· Coordinates with EnergySolutions’ IT department to monitor cybersecurity compliance.

· Is responsible for overseeing security programs that protect EnergySolutions property, employees and customers at EnergySolutions facilities. This task is necessary to maintain a safe and secure workforce thereby enabling EnergySolutions to reach its performance goals and stay competitive in the marketplace.

· Develops security policies, programs, procedures and initiatives to ensure the security and safety of employees.

· Provides oversight and support to security professionals to ensure regulatory, customer and company security objectives are being met.

· Provides supports to facility managers and security personnel on a variety of security matters as needed.

· Promotes company-wide security awareness, working with executive and business group management.

· Uses traditional and advanced techniques to assess the risks and threats facing the Security organization.

· Performs annual risk analyses for the company with respect to level of crime, terrorism, workplace violence and threats from natural and man-made disasters.

· Reviews security logs and reports of incidents that occur on the grounds of the business to analyze whether failures in existing safety and security policies contributed to the event(s) and to prevent future occurrences of such events.

· Maintains familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the security field.

· Is a subject matter expert on U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security requirements.

· Manages the Foreign Ownership Control and Influence Program for EnergySolutions in accordance with DOE directives.

· Is responsible for oversight and implementation of the Business Continuity Plan at EnergySolutions facilities.

Is responsible for implementing the Trustworthiness and Reliability Program at EnergySolutions facilities in accordance with U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requirements.
