  • My role as a shift lead has taught me a lot about myself, by mastering the art of patience and maintaining efficiency in all steps of service.   • As a server at Local Pour, I got to learn about and memorize over 40+ rotating local beers and ciders in order to give customized recommendations to our guests. I was able to handle cocktail and dinner parties of over 30 guest which helped me develop the patience being put in a high stress situation. While serving up to 100 guest a night, I also was in charge of maintaining a clean and bussed section as well as our server/bar area which was constantly being wiped down and swept. On extremely busy late nights, I would use communication and problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints and promote long-term loyalty while maintaining a safe environment as well as regulating alcohol consumption

  • At Grimaldi's, I started off as a hostess in which I warmly greeted our new and returning guest creating relationships resulting in customer loyalty which followed into becoming a server. As a server I was required to memorize each item on the menu and it's contents, from our food to our rotating seasonal drinks, which I then passed onto our guest by recommending to their custom needs. With creating customer relations, I was able to have guest who personally asked to be sat in my section or even asked for me to personally make their drinks! Working in customer service for years taught me how to swiftly and successfully resolve conflicts resulting 100% guest satisfaction.
