Helen Eberhardie Dunn

• I have successful curriculum and course templates in Blackboard for these courses: Painting 2/3, Life Drawing 2, Visual Dynamics 1, Performance Art /Creative Wellness, and Special Topics. My instruction was successful because I applied equity awareness and a variety of teaching modalities to minimize learning gaps, motivate students, and increase student participation with group projects and collaborative learning sessions. I have also encouraged student-led initiatives and clubs, promoting leadership skills and extracurricular engagement.

Since 2020 I have curated two solo exhibitions and a variety of performative events for the Pueblo community.

• Designed interdisciplinary, multi-media, multi-level curriculum for Think 360 Arts for workshops and residencies meeting their creative vision and ensuring satisfaction with the final product.

I was invited to become a fellow in 2003 and currently collaborate in international artist and fellow meetings.

In 2022 the group exhibited Exo-Sanctuaries at the Sangre de Cristo Art Center in 2022, an interactive, installation co-curated by the artist with Ludel walters.

• I created and taught the Gifted Art curriculum, emphasizing the promotion of a positive learning environment through clear expectations and consistent classroom management techniques. I also tracked student progress, frequently checking in with struggling students and identifying the root causes of problems.

• I taught Sculpture: Direct Stone Carving and promoted a positive learning environment by establishing clear expectations and maintaining consistent classroom management techniques.

• I created the curriculum and taught courses in Sculpture, Direct Stone Carving, and Experimental Casting. I provided individualized support and targeted feedback to boost student performance as well as curating student exhibitions.

I was the first artist in residence for the Gallery of Contemporary Art at UCCS, this opportunity was funded by the Arts Council of Great Britain and and curated an exhibition series in both UK and the US of the final installation.

• Creating a curriculum and effectively teaching Stone Carving to middle school students, maintaining an organized environment conducive to creativity, and curating an exhibition of the final artworks.

• Collaborating with students and community to highlight environmental relationships within indigenous plant species and identity by curating the Blueprints STEM integrative workshop, exhibition and publication in collaboration with UCCS with final exhibition at The Fine Art Center Colorado Springs.

• Working in sales at the annual International Tucson Gem and Mineral Show in Arizona, designing displays to help sell the company's products.

• Designed and fabricated custom artwork for clients such as the Royal Shakespeare Company and the English National Opera and Art Effects - small film productions, meeting their creative vision and ensuring satisfaction with final productions.
