US Army   Flight Operations Specialist   09/05 - 09/08

Working in conjunction with 8 soldiers and 2 supervisors on call in a politically sensitive environment 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, I accurately maintained and filed flight records, publications and flight plans for approximately 150 pilots and crew chiefs. This was accomplished while ensuring 100% accountability of 30 UH-60L helicopters utilizing a secure intra-agency communications system which ensured prompt response times in the event of emergency situations. Utilizing multiple radio channels, I continuously monitored aircraft and provided flight crews with timely updates to mission changes, assisting with accidents and emergencies as appropriate. I also managed the Defense Travel System (DTS) to process orders and travel vouchers for flight crews.
