Hemeira Kepner

I grew up in a tough neighborhood in Colombia. I was adopted and moved to America when I was 11 years old. First of my family to achieve a higher education in getting both a bachelor's and a master's. My future goal includes helping my family in Colombia with the skills I was privileged to learn. I learned how to adapt to a new culture and environment. Having these experience made me want to use this opportunity to helps others in some capacity. The skills that I have gained include being a leader, being persistent, and goal-oriented. My diverse background makes me personable and adaptable to different personalities and able to work well with others. My goals for my career are to gain skills necessary to be in a management position where I am making a difference.
