PROJECT

As a Cloud Engineer, I spearheaded the successful migration from a monolithic architecture to a microservices framework using Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS). This transition involved using Docker to containerize each component, ensuring they run consistently across various environments, and employing Jenkins to automate continuous integration and deployment processes. We achieved substantial improvements in system scalability, resource efficiency, and reduced deployment times for new features by segmenting our application into smaller, independent microservices.

Employing Amazon EKS facilitated efficient microservice management and scaling. I extensively used Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, which streamlined the creation and maintenance of our cloud resources, ensuring repeatability and consistency. This hands-on experience with Terraform and Helm equips me well to enhance the scalability and reliability of backend systems. My proactive involvement in incident response and ongoing operations prepares me to effectively collaborate with your development teams and maintain high service availability, directly contributing to a superior user experience.
