I was drawn to FAU to carry out my passion of playing Division 1 tennis, and through this I developed different skills including leadership, time management, and resilience. Unfortunately I was forced to medically retire from tennis in my third year, but I have continued to focus on my academic pursuits in Accounting and Finance. I have gained valuable cross-cultural communication skills as I grew up in Brazil and am fluent in English and Portuguese, with additional knowledge of Spanish. My experiences have equipped me with the ability to thrive under pressure, adapt quickly, and collaborate effectively in diverse environments. I am very eager to continue to learn and grow, and I am looking forward to being able to contribute to a dynamic workplace in the future!
