While a member of Phi Kappa Psi I was the alumni relations chair charged with raising donations as well as a member of our philanthropy team charged with organizing events to raise money, mainly for our Hunter's pledge, which is a cause to end distracted driving. Essentially we would hold events at either our fraternity house or a social venue where someone would purchase a cup and with the purchase of the cup, they would be required to sign our Hunter's pledge and we would give all of the money that we accumulated to the Hunter's pledge foundation.
