Accomplishments

  • I’ve received a lot of positive recognition throughout my career. In 2011, my team won the AAMS Ground Critical Care Transport Team of the Year award. We all worked hard, and we were grateful for that recognition. In 2007, I was personally honored by the American Journal of Nursing. They gave my book “E-Z ECG: Rhythm Interpretation” the “Book of the Year” honors in critical care and emergency nursing. In 2012, I received the State of Florida EMS Nurse of the Year award. I was quite humbled by all of this positive recognition. I have also been an approved continuing education provider for nursing and other healthcare disciplines for the state of Florida since 1998.
