  • While attending college to receive a Diploma in HVAC/R two of my project were retired due to outstanding content.


  • Less than 6 months after I completed my electrical apprenticeship I received a foreman letter to work for Newtron Heat Trace to finish the DHT unit at Husky Energy Refinery in Lima, Ohio


  • Within 2.5 years of completing my electrical apprenticeship I had received the following licenses or certifications: Master Electrician West Virginia License, Washington State Electrical License, State of Ohio Electrical Contractor License, Electrical Safety Inspector License, ISA CCST Level 1, ISA CCST Level 2, NICET Instrumentation Level 1, EPRI Instrumentation Class A, NICET Fire Alarm Level 1 & 2.


  • The ISA courses I instructed between 2008 to 2012 I had over a 65% passing rate compared to ISA 45% rate after student took ISA CCST Level 1 Review Course.


  • In 2010, I was the brainchild that created a online course with ISA work elements and suggested the idea to Husky Energy Trainer Director (Katy Shaw) where 100% of the newly hired instrument tech passed.


  • In 2011, NICET Instrumentation Level 3 Exams


  • In 2012, I passed both ISA CCST Level 3 and NICET Instrumentation Level 4 before the end of March.

(There were less than 350 ISA CCST Level 3 in the world in 2012 & 20 NICET Instrumentation Level 4 in the country.)


  • In 2012, was offer by ISA to help with the creation of the new ISA CCST Level 3 exam


  • Between 2014 and 2020, I had group leader coordinated over $50 millions in various analyzers and CEMS projects at Husky Energy in Lima, Ohio


  • In September of 2022, I took and passed the EPRI Instrumentation Class A Exam again with less than 3 hour preparing and haven't work as an instrument technician since 2012
