Working as the lead dishwasher from Hiso was more than just cleaning dishes, it was about keeping the entire kitchen running smoothly. In this role, you're responsible for managing the dishwashing station during busy shifts, making sure plates, utensils, and cookware are cleaned quickly and meet health standards. you often had to stay organized under pressure, especially during rush hours when everything needs to move fast It also involves training new dishwashers, assigning tasks, and stepping in to solve problems when things get backed up. Some of the skills that I learned from my time working there:

• Facilitated smooth kitchen operations through prompt removal and disposal of waste materials.
• Ensured consistent high-quality service by inspecting dishes for cleanliness before returning them to the kitchen staff or storage area.
• Provided training and guidance to new hires on proper dishwashing techniques, sanitation practices, and related equipment usage.
• Ensured adherence to local health codes by properly storing cleaned items in designated areas according to established procedures.

As a high school student, I took initiative to get involved in my community by volunteering at school football games and local shelters. During football games, I helped organize and assist with concessions, serve food and drinks to attendees, and support event staff to ensure everything ran smoothly. This experience taught me how to work efficiently in fast-paced environments, communicate with a wide range of people, and stay responsible during busy events.

• Managed inventory for concession stands during sporting events to ensure proper supply levels while minimizing waste.
• Provided support during special events such as graduation ceremonies, ensuring smooth execution of important milestones.

In addition, I volunteered at a homeless shelter where I helped prepare and serve meals to individuals in need. This experience allowed me to develop strong empathy, patience, and interpersonal skills while making a positive impact in my community. I worked closely with other volunteers to ensure everyone was treated with respect and care.
