Summary

I am a resourceful Subsea Service Engineer with over eight years of experience in the oil and gas industry and a track record of performance in the testing, installation, operation, and maintenance of subsea oil and gas equipment such as Christmas Trees, Tubing Hangers, Wellhead, and EDP/LRP. Key strengths include completing projects on time, within budget, and to specification, a strong passion for solving complex engineering problems, training & and coaching, and the ability to conduct failure investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. As a Field Service Coordinator, I am responsible for planning, coordinating, and assisting the operational projects and subcontractors with technical, logistics and administrative support related to all offshore and onshore activities. I am a strategic and proactive project planner and coordinator. When I am not working in the office or offshore, I train and coach parents on Intentional Parenting and Raising Healthy Children in a polluted environment.

Work History

Service Engineer (IWOCS Operator)

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate the re-certification of the Egina IWOCS ranging from PT & PG calibration, replacement of MCP compressor, HVAC maintenance, EX survey, and flushing of accumulators, et Cetera onshore
  • In conjunction with base support engineers, identify equipment required to achieve site/offshore work scopes
  • Coordinate/assist with the reparation of equipment prior to mobilization
  • Ensure that service test equipment is maintained and serviceable for use
  • While offshore, performed the electrical rig up of IWOCS, HVAC, Alternator, PSD panels, ESD/EQD panels, RCP, and Air dryer
  • Manage the Workover Control System, which includes control consoles/panels, hydraulic equipment, and other devices used to control downhole instruments and operations during well intervention and Tubing Hanger installation activities
  • Ensure that all well-intervention and Tubing Hanger installation operations are carried out in accordance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies
  • In these high-stakes, high-pressure situations, safety is of the utmost importance
  • Continually monitor the Workover Control System and associated equipment via HMI throughout well intervention activities and Tubing Hanger installations
  • Identify any anomalies or malfunctions and troubleshoot problems immediately to avoid operational delays or safety risks
  • Work collaboratively with the well-intervention team, including engineers, technicians, and other personnel, to plan and execute workover operations
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols throughout the process
  • Keep accurate recordings of the well intervention operations, including equipment performance, operating parameters, and any incidents that may occur during the process
  • Provide supervisors and management with comprehensive reports
  • Organize and communicate with the well intervention team, including rig personnel, engineers, and administrators, to ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently
  • Preventive Maintenance: Take an active role in the maintenance and servicing of the Workover Control System and associated equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and sustainability
  • In the event of an emergency or equipment malfunction during well-intervention operations, respond swiftly and effectively to protect personnel and equipment by following emergency protocols and procedures.

  • Responsible for carrying out detailed planning, coordinating, and assisting the operational projects and subcontractors with technical and administrative support related to all offshore activities, including the operation of the TechnipFMC Offshore Reporting System (ORS)
  • Exert best efforts to ensure that all work is complete within the Client’s milestones, and budgets, and to the quality specified or implied in the project scope of work, contract documents, and TechnipFMC specifications
  • Responsible for reporting any change in schedule on the offshore operations that need to be updated in Work Order network dates and taking part in HAZOPs, SIMOPS reviews/evaluation, and Technical Review, among other things
  • Takes responsibility and accountability for Safety, contributes to the review of procedures, and manuals, and actively participates in all technical readiness review meetings
  • Work in collaboration with the engineering team to review any paperwork supplied by contractors about the commissioning activities, including commissioning processes, sequences, plans, reports, and any other relevant documents (FPSO, SPS, Umbilical, T&I etc.)
  • Responsible for reporting Offshore Experience Reports for all operations (drilling, completions, and intervention/workover), and also report any change in schedule on the offshore operations that need to be updated in Work Order network dates
  • Plan, organize and coordinate the shipping dates of equipment on Master equipment lists based on the actual time schedule on ongoing offshore operations
  • Act as the single point of contact for the Project’s technical-related offshore issues and assist in the establishment of system and subsystem battery limits for the installation workover control system.
