I am a highly disciplined and focused individual with a strong background shaped by years of playing competitive football and two years of college-level study in kinesiology at Prairie View A&M University. My life has been built on routine, precision, and performance—on and off the field. As a football player, I developed a commitment to preparation, structure, and teamwork. We were taught early that success doesn’t come from just showing up—it comes from repetition, film study, accountability, and executing your role even when nobody’s watching. That sense of responsibility has become second nature to me. Whether it’s arriving early, double-checking equipment, or making sure every task is handled the right way, I carry that same attention to detail and pride into every area of my life. While studying kinesiology, I had the opportunity to dig deeper into how the body and mind function together to perform tasks. I took classes like Anatomy, Dance, Motor Skills, and Sports Medicine—each one showing me a new side of coordination, balance, and how small adjustments can lead to big improvements. Dance, for example, taught me about rhythm, timing, and control—things that might seem unrelated to inventory work, but are directly connected to how we move through physical spaces and organize processes. In Motor Skills, I learned the value of sequence, body awareness, and repetition—all things that now help me stay sharp and efficient in manual tasks. Through Anatomy, I began to understand how systems rely on one another, and how one misstep in a chain can create failure. That lesson now shapes how I approach organization and logistics—ensuring everything is where it belongs and functions as it should. More than just physical stamina, football taught me how to work under pressure, adapt to new playbooks quickly, and function in a team where every person has a role to play. My time in the classroom gave me the language and technical understanding to go with that discipline. Together, they’ve molded me into someone who thrives in structured environments and understands how to make systems run smoother. I’m now looking to apply all of these qualities to serve the City of Houston in an Inventory Manager Clerk role. I bring consistency, energy, and a strong work ethic to every task. I believe in being where I’m supposed to be, when I’m supposed to be there—and making sure no detail is missed. Whether it’s tracking physical inventory, handling tools or materials, or helping teammates stay organized, I’m ready to contribute and grow in this next chapter of my career.
