• Support and assist with HR recruiting and employee relations efforts
• Comply with and execute duties and responsibilities with an in-depth knowledge of the HR department's policies and procedures
• Adhere to the HR department's procedures regarding confidentiality
• Understand how the mission and policies of the HR Department relate to the overall mission of the District
• Review correspondence, required back-up information, and respond accordingly as applicable
• Answer phones in a courteous and professional manner and ensure to follow up and follow through with any requests for information, documents, guidance, and/or assistance
• Design and maintain a filing system by scanning employee files to DocuWare for the effective and efficient operation of the HR Department.
• Perform data entry and data maintenance to included add College Transcripts, enter Educator Certificates, update W-4 forms, Update demographics, and add Contract Status
• Schedule appointments for and in accordance with HR administrative personnel schedule as applicable
• Ensure compliance with the Texas Educator's Code of Ethics
