New Albany High School Volleyball, Jv team for the first two years of high school, played for the program for a total of 3 years, 2019-2021 Youth Camp for New Albany Volleyball Club, Volunteered as a group leader, and helped teach students to improve their skills in volleyball., 2020-2021 Brighter Generation, Volunteered for Brighter Generation, a nonprofit in Ethiopia, as a support-instructor. Helped teach high school students virtually, and graded papers and projects., 2023 Black Students Association, Member of this club at New Albany High School for 3 years, and was elected to be on the board as the secretary., 2021-Present National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Member of the NAACP Youth Unit Club at New Albany High School for 3 years. Elected as the Socioeconomic Chair, and as a Co-President the following year., 2021-Present National Honors Society, Member of this club for two years, completed volunteer hours through the club, and organized a game night for the senior citizens at the local retirement home., 2021-Present Juneteenth Celebration, Member on the IDEA panel with the New Albany City Planners, and helped organize and put on the first Juneteenth event in New Albany., 2023 Internship with Judges, Completed over 80 hours shadowing Judges of Franklin County and Municipal Court. Formed relationships and connections while gaining experience in the field. Wrote literature reviews, conducted interviews, and research papers., 2023 Environmental Club, Active member, created a recycling system within the school. Educated students on sustainable practices and climate change.
