- Enhanced production efficiency by streamlining processes and implementing lean flow manufacturing techniques. Increasing production 300% over 10 years while maintaining the same labor hours.
- Reduced our chemical footprint by implementing the use of rice hulls in our production process. Increasing our finish time while greatly reducing our weeding and herbicide labor.
- Increased overall shipping productivity through collaboration with sales manager by identifying bottlenecks in the pulling/shipping process and proposing effective solutions. Resulting in sales increasing from 2013- $11.01 million to 2023-$30.5 million in wholesale.
- Calculate need and built relationships with vendors while negotiating price and terms for of all production materials i.e. rice hulls, Hydra fiber, control release fertilizers, lime, pine fines, peat moss, bamboo, and poly for 8 container farms.
- Developed a comprehensive training program for new hires, resulting in higher employee retention rates and faster integration into the team.
- Assess talant and put together 9 section teams, irrigation team, production/canning teams, 2 trimming teams, will call team, 3 dock teams, and drivers
- Compile and put together our H2A list consisting of 311 employees for all farms.

- Work hand in hand with Sales manager, logistics and IPM on weekly shipping/spraying schedule to balance timing on the crop maintenance schedule and a better handle on day to day operations.
- Create production schedule based of forecasted need. Work with inventory team on tracking daily production.
- Implemented an automated scoreboard system for production that track production variety, bump up size, tracks downtime, and efficiency and pace on a scoreboard in the potting barns so that potting crew hold themselves self accountable.
- Analyze and forecast numbers for cycle production/cycle trimming.
- Collaborate with the IPM team on herbicide, PGR, and biologicals systems.
- Create yearly production plan each year by analyzing 3 year sales history and forecasting liner inputs 3-5 years ahead by collaborating with Sale Manager, Propagator, and Ownership.
- Reduced waste and material costs by implementing recycling program for all polyethylene plastics. Implemented the use of heaters that are fueled by old motor/engine oils from our own equipment.
- Conduct yearly analysis on production issues, devising corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Nothing worse when asking "the why" and getting "because that is the way that we've always done it."
- Fostered a culture of continuous improvement and education by encouraging open communication between team members and regularly soliciting feedback on operational systems that are in place.
- Coordinated with sales and marketing departments to align production schedules with demand forecasts, maximizing both efficiency and customer satisfaction.
