• Developed and tested new cosmetic formulations based on customer requirements, including stability testing of products under various conditions.
• Research of raw materials, keeping Inventory, vendor management, stability testing/ evaluation and product presentations. Supported production, assisting with the scaling up of new products from laboratory to manufacturing
• Create and maintain manufacturing procedures for compounding
• Provide specifications and other information to QC to receive and test new ingredients and finished goods
• Performed individual projects which included researching ingredients, building and making batches, and testing those batches (specific gravity, pH, viscosity)
• Recorded and filed completed formulas with appropriate documentation for batch record purposes
• Develop new innovative marketable products, revise/reformulate existing formulas and break down/ reverse engineer competitive products. Responsibilities include all as all aspects of development from stability to full production scale up.
• Initiate, develop and create innovative Powder and liquid products to expand the R&D formulation library
