Professional Leadership Highlights

  • North Carolina Teacher Voice Network Fellow, Advocated to influencers throughout the state to improve public education through a paid two-year fellowship created by the Hope Street Group (a non-profit funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation). Directed several focus groups to brainstorm improvements. Led meetings with Charlotte school board members, school district leaders, and local and state politicians on current education policy issues.
