Hired on thru the union to Terminate 35 KV T-Bodys from 1/0 JCM cable to 1500 JCM cable and Slice 35 KV 1/0 cable to 1500 KV cable.Ring cable out to verify correct phasing,Megger test cable to verify no damage to cable jacket.When all cable was Terminated and splice energized circuits and completed phase and rotation.

Hired on thru the union as a groundsman worked my way thru the apprenticeship and became a URD TECH.MY Duties was to complete tie-ins with pvc conduit to underground equipment,pull underground secondary cable ranging from 2/0AWG-500AWG,primary cable from 1/0-2000 KV cable,splice and Terminate all cable,completed all underground distribution switching to deenergize and isolate urd cable to work on and or replace,Operated Trackhoes,mini track hoes,backhoe,skidsteers to set pre-cast manholes from 3x5 splice handholes,4x6 precast concrete manholes to 6x12 precast manholes,Worked in substations from pulling control cable,replacing circuit breakers to replacing control panels inside control building,building jumpers from breakers to buss,operating bucket trucks to build URD riser poles,operating line trucks setting streetlight poles,urd pad mount transformers to s&c switch cabinets,energize urd distribution circuits and check voltage and rotation on urd pad mount transformers.
